The Seminoles can cap an undefeated season with a victory over Georgia in the Orange Bowl this Saturday at 4 p.m.
Florida State was unjustly denied a spot in the four-team College Football Playoff, leaving a sour taste in the mouths of fans, players and coaches alike. But a consolation bowl in South Florida against the two-time defending national champions is about as good as it gets.
The Seminoles, ranked fourth in The Associated Press poll and third in the coaches poll, will face the sixth-ranked Bulldogs for the first time since a 26-13 loss in the 2003 Sugar Bowl, when current Georgia head coach Kirby Smart was a graduate assistant under the legendary Bobby Bowden at Florida State.

Proceeds from your donations benefit the Palm Beach County Seminole Club scholarship fund, which provides two scholarships each year to local students who have chosen to continue their education at FSU. The club is currently working to endow a third scholarship.
